Medicare Replacement Insurance Type
You can specify a Medicare Replacement plan as an insurance type when adding a new insurance. This function is only available to Insurance Admins.
- From the Insurance Manager, select Add Insurance.
- Enter insurance information, and select Medicare Replacement from the insurance type drop-down menu.
- The only setting automatically included that cannot be updated is Apply CCI Edits. All other settings can be selected or deselected based on the requirements for this payer. You should reach out to the payer directly if you have questions about which insurance settings are required.
